 	Did that. It's in /usr/bin/kate. No launcher, anywhere. 
Logged out and back in. Still no launcher. GUI apps without 
launchers are a real pain -- and this one *used* to have a 
launcher, when I didn't know what it was.

 	Why is it, btw, that *most* (not all) kde launchers show 
nothing at all, as any Gnome launcher does, when you hold the 
cursor on them? One of the things I avoid kde because of ...
