pretty much says my card (ATI Radeon 9200 will do 3D, but its worthless in XGL.

I'm trying to confirm whether or not it worth it to use this card.

I'm going to assume that my card will work, if I can outcome the driver
dependency issues.

However, I just found a file /etc/X11 that lists nvidia and ATI cards. I think
my card is not supported, but how can I make absolute certain this is the
case, without knowing if newer driver versions would help me out.

Driver used in xorg.conf is "radeon ".

I've copied ATI section of xgl-hardware-list filem and show only those cards
which I think are my version. From this list, I don't see this card doing 3D.
