[Novalug] check printing software for linux?

I just had to re-order some checks today. I am really
annoyed that I have to purchase in quantities of 150
minimum with my bank. Shipping is quite costly as
well. I only write 1-2 checks per month. Always one is
for rent.

I was just thinking that since I write so few checks,
it may make more sense for me to purchase some check
paper from staples and print my own as needed and
never have to re-order checks again (I have multiple
checking accounts as well and don't want to have to
re-order for those as well).

Does anybody on the list know of any good check
printing software for linux they have used before and
can vouch for?
