[Novalug] Debian on USB

Hi all,

   I hope you all are having a nice holidays.

   I want to run Debian on a USB pendrive to run basically a Samba 
server and a BackupPC server. I have found this link:

   where It explains how to do that.

   However, I forgot my USB flash drive back in Baltimore and I didn't 
bring it with me, but still I want to play with the install and be able 
to get an image of the pendrive install (it's possible to install it in 
a folder).
 
   Had anyone had any experience with this? Being able to customize it 
under Windows - or linux and the create the image to flash the USB drive?
