[Novalug] [OT] Verizon Experience Store Grand Opening

Two points:
1) The fact Verizon does not have to meet the stringent availability
requirements with VoIP played a big factor in their FiOS plans. This
gets them out of alot of federal regulation that peeves them to no end.
2) Since I use Cavalier as my local carrier and not Hell Atlantic, it
would be interesting to know how they would handle this. I'm almost
tempted to order FiOS without telephone just to annoy them. I heard
that Cavalier cannot get "new" copper service - don't know if it is
true. But keeping Cavalier and having FiOS would be the best ...
personal satisfaction I could get with Hell Atlantic.
I guess I have to plead guilty to being a curmudgeon .... in this case,
I'd do so gladly!! 8-)
