It sounds like you've got something in the print queue.
How much memory do you have in the printer? I know that overflowing the
printer memory will cause a problem like this. If Pagestream sent an
ultra-high density page to the printer, that's what did it. Your
printing system is waiting for the printer to clear a flag signifying
that it finished. That isn't going to happen so you have to clear the
queue manually.
