My short experience is that you can only use g4l for NTFS or FAT32 if
both drives are equal (and AFAIK, same hard drives). It is a pitty that
there is not easy way of shrinking and copying information and
partitions using g4l. If anyone knows any nice front-end for doing the
average stuff, it would be nice to know...
