For the record, I have vilearn *and* an excellent
website, and *will* learn vi when I get around to it, blanching
all the while; but I wouldn't be caught dead asking Jo to.
I'm still heavily dependent on GUIs, despite my
preference for the command line when I can handle it, and despite
nearly ten years of linux. Jo has no interest in ever learning
linux to begin with.
We all have our areas of expertise and trained intuition,
some of which we share and some we don't. For my part, I ask no
one to learn Middle High German, nor the history of Finnish
grammar, despite the great values I see in doing so.
