Actually, my point was:  Are you trying to solve the right problem?

It's like the classic urban legend of NASA spending millions to
develop a pen that could write in zero gravity while the Soviets used
a pencil.  If you can simplify the problem to be solved, your solution
is likely to get easier.

In terms of VA or MD vs the Feds, does anyone know the difference in
the size and/or complexity of the respecitve tax codes?  I used the VA
stuff for the past couple years and it was amazingly simple...  but
IIRC, it was about the same length as my old 1040EZ that I got to do
years ago.
