[Novalug] OpenSuse 10.2 box locked up, had to reboot to clear

It's a bit of code in either the keyboard, serial or terminal driver.  A
box can be pretty hosed and have it still work.  Basically, if it is
still handling keyboard/serial interrupts, it should work.  Certainly,
if you can't ssh in, but you can ping the box, it'll work.
