It's a nightmare to keep track of this stuff, at least for me. On the
other hand, there are some people who like to organize things like this,
who have large folders with receipts, who put purchases made on credit
cards in their accounting system, etc. 

I admire some of them, the one I'm married to. But, anyone who thinks
like that should not working with the IRS, or better yet, be banned
from Congress where these complicated rules come from in the end.
