[Novalug] Rich's Alternative to iPhone

That's a pretty weird distortion of the situation. T-Mobile had the WiFi
thing in the works WAY before the iPhone was announced.

I think the iPhone is pretty and innovative, but let's not fall into the
trap of attributing all post-iPhone innovation to it, shall we?

Actually, I think the single best thing about the iPhone is that all the
other carriers/manufacturers are going to have to respond.
Tmobile already has once with their phone that routes over Wifi to save you
minutes.  Another carrier is about to launch a phone stripped down to
basically nothing but a dialing device + 100 contacts on the basis of "a
phone should be a phone".... oh and the sucker is dirt cheap.

Yea!  Innovation and creativity!
