Or, use a WAP54G set in client mode. Nice thing is that the WAP
has a web interface, so you don't need anything more than a
browser on yer 'puter to access and mod the WAP.
I have one of each, but have not yet risked bricking the WRT by
installing third-party software. It's on my to-do list. The
reason for "older" WRT is because the newer ones have less RAM
installed. Those DD-WRT type systems are really pretty kewl,
IMHO.
