[Novalug] Domain name blues

I have nothing against online advertisement, and I'm not talking about
real sites. I mean the sites which are JUST ad sites because people
snap up a bunch of popular domain names solely for the sake of reselling
the domains and/or putting junk ads on them. I'm sure you've seen them
before.

One thing I've noticed is that they may just register domain names
containing commonly searched keywords, hoping that they'll just get
traffic based on that fact. So to test this, I thought of something:
"new in 2008" and checked to see if it was a domain. So instead of me
posting the URL, just remove the whitespace and add .com, and you'll see
what I mean.

The problem is that this does a disservice to all of us. I never really
cared in the past, but it's just getting worse and worse every year.
It's kind of annoying.
