[Novalug] scanner recommendation

I'm personally not sold on the idea that a digital camera is the better
choice for day to day stuff. Flatbeds, IMHO, are easier to work with (more
useful resolutions, easier cropping). My own personal favorite is the HP
2200 - it may not have the best specs compared to most these days, but it's
plug-and-play in Linux (via USB!), and gives excellent scans. I've also
networked it via saned, so I can do a scan from any computer in the
apartment.

This is pretty interesting. I wonder how they deal with glare off the
plastic sheet?
