I looked at them as an alternative to a Palm but they don't seem to be 
sold in the U.S. except for high-end, specialized business/industrial 
applications. For example, shop on Amazon or ebay.

The newer Nokia 770 and newer N800 look interesting. They run Linux 
natively but you have to get after-market apps to do, e.g., calendaring 
/ contacts:
