[Novalug] CD/DVDs archive system

Hi,

  We have some mess on our current CD/DVD archives in my company.

  We have copies of jobs that We did in the past in CD/DVDs. Normally 
people want to locate a specific folder (or even file), which makes 
really difficult to know whether they are in the CD/DVDs archives or 
not. We just have a small sheet with folder names, which sometimes are 
not very meaningful.

   I have been looking around any tool that allows me to create a 
catalogue (maybe launching a ls -l or the whole CD/DVD) and be able to 
search on it. It would be nice that is cross platform, since We have Mac 
and Windows users, so I thought maybe PHP/MySQL application could be a 
good fit. I have searched on SF.net or Freshmeat with no luck (most 
projects are inmature or in the starting process).

   Another nice thing of this catalogue could be that I could have a 
catalogue of my current software CDs, with their licenses and which user 
is using it. Currently We have a excel sheet which is not very handy.

   If I don't find anything useful, I guess I will have to do it myself :)

   Anyone knows anything similar?
