 	Yes, I know. Too GUI for me. Also too easy to louse up.

 	I messed up trying to install puppy to a hard drive. 
Right now I'm wiping it with DBAN, and will try again. Then, if 
it installs (instead of choking on GRUB again), I'll try to get 
pine from softpedia; many thanks!

 	I have no use for a machine that can't run pine. Might 
have, if I were technoid enough to make, say, a printserver of 
it; but I'm not ...
