I would not recommend MyBooks. Having bought it, worked with it and
well ... got frustrated with it .... And my accountant worked with me to
realize it is more an accountant package than a small business oriented
package. She thought it was interesting but from a financial
standpoint, I paid her several hours of time going over books and
things. Thus I more than paid for another copy of Quicken and was into
paying for the M$ OS .... which I did anyway.
Hard as it is to say, Quicken. WHAT!%$##$#!^????? Yes. But do it
right - under VMWare on your Linux box! Yes, you do need a M$ OS ...
but those can be had cheaply. VMWare player is free and I got Quicken
Pro at Costco for $99 during a special sale. I also upgraded the laptop
memory to 2GB. This allows 1GB when I am doing my books but 2GB all the
rest of the time!! 8-)

They run Windows don't they!!
