[Novalug] which plotting program handles 16-bit images with 3 colors?

Hi,
  Curiously enough, I wrote an Tcl/Tk app to do this just a few
days ago.  Mine has a few extra bells & whistles because it's
purpose is to convert a picture to a needlework pattern.

  If you can mung it to do just what you want, you're welcome
to it.
