Try http://www.taxact.com/

It is cheaper and IMHO better than TurboTax, the web version works
on Linux just fine, and the Windows software even works in wine
(with the exception of invisible checkboxes) - which is how I use it.

I switched from TurboTax in 2003 and haven't looked back. They even offer a
free version - although it is crippleware (doesn't import, doesn't do state).
If you just want to fill in your forms and print/transmit them, the free
version will do the job.

To me, there seems to be an unexploited business model involving a GPL forms
engine, with a commercial service to provide new forms and E-file service every
year. Companies like TaxAct essentially give away the program anyway. The
hard part is keeping the forms updated and accurate.
