Hi Everyone-

My presentation surely went longer than 10 minutes Saturday.  I appreciate all the excellent audience participation and questions that occurred.  There is so much to discuss and cover just in the features, let alone the design of the distro.  Next month's presentation (or perhaps even a few more presentations) will be a more "detailed" discussion(s) covering:

1) what philosophical approach was taken
2) what morality and ethical issues were tackled.
3) legal concerns and solutions (encryption and codecs)
4) feature specifications used
5) technological components are within GAL:
a) Features and Applications
b) Linux-Live components (aufs, squashfs, etc.)
c) Encryption (as well as non-repudiation, plausible deniability and perfect forward secrecy).  Use of email message encryption, tunnels, containers, digital signatures, etc.
d) Authentication technology (Token, CaC, biometrics)
e) Anonymous Networks
f) Shielding Technologies (Anti-Virus, Anti-Scam, Firewall, Anti-Spyware, AppArmor, Anti-Tracking, TOMOYO, etc)
g) Data Integrity/Removal
h) persistence of session
i) Notification and Updates
j) Underlying libraries and frameworks...

I am open to additions, changes, recommendations, discussions, etc. for GAL.  Keep those questions and feature requests coming.
