[Novalug] favorite new laptops?

Thanks to all who weighed in with recommendations on a new laptop ...
and thanks especially to Paul, who brought up what I'd come around to
in my own search, that the intel chips aren't just convenient, they're
politically the right ones to buy at the moment.

I haven't bought the machine yet, because I can't quite bring myself
to order a laptop I haven't had a chance to touch, but I probably will
get past that hurdle sometime this week.
