 	I do that, that way, and like it, yes.

 	And while I think of it, that raises another question -- 
synchronizing bookmarks both between browsers and between 
machines.

 	Fwiw, I try always to make sure I put any new promising 
bookmark into my main stash, which is on Opera, because only 
Opera afaik lets me organize things exactly the way that suits 
*me*. So one thing I could do, theoretically, is to use opsynch 
on all machines every so often, then discard all bookmarks on all 
other browsers and re-import from Opera.

 	But, item 1, I've had trouble even getting started with 
opsynch. And, item 2, all synchronizers afaik require you to copy 
your whole stash to some machine somewhere that you have no 
control over -- and puts me ill at ease, too.

 	Not that I have any secret bookmarks, but that I have 
such a whale of a scatload of them that I hate to think what 
state of the art data-mining them might tell some bad guy about 
me ...
