[Novalug] Security Distros

I just got this month's issue of Linux Pro magazine, and it has 
an article on Nubuntu.

The article describes some of the security tools included with the
distro.

  BED v0.5, DNS Enum driftnet, PBNJ 2.04, and ISR-Form are covered
in the article

  The distro also includes Metasploit, Nmap, Versinia, Ettercap, 
Kismet, Wireshark, GooScan, MD5coll, RainbowCrack, Amap, and Dsniff.

  OT: I've been getting Linux Pro magazine for a couple years now. I
like it. I find a must-read article every issue or two, and at least
one interesting article in each issue.

  The real win (for me) is that each issue comes with a full distro
on DVD.  I don't use all the stuff I get from them, but it's nice to
have a fallback when my favorite distro won't install on some weird
hardware.
