[Novalug] Gnome window too small to use

Im using the VPN now, sorry I didnt get to reply back to these earlier.

Right clicking gives me the window options but Maximize is grayed out. 
So I cant use that one.
System=>Pref=>Win will let me set rollup/grabbing but I dont even have a 
title bar to roll up to or grab onto. Its almost like I have a 1x1 
window or something. Clicking the task bar DOES make the little 
animation like its growing a window (the gray lines that sort of move up 
from the tool bar) and clicking again makes it 'shrink' (the gray lines 
go down into the toolbar) but no window is ever produced...

I was hoping there was something in the .gnome dirs that I can force a 
window size but I dont see anything.
