I was able to download the code last night.  I followed the link in the 
book, entered the email address I use for purchasing stuff.  I recall an 
intermediate step where they asked where I "purchased" the book.  I selected 
"Sitepoint", which was true (price was $0).  They sent me an email with a 
link (good for 2 weeks) to a zip file containing the code.  No problem.
