[Novalug] Mplayer

I've got multimedia working just fine on OpenSUSE 10.3 with the exception of 
mplayer. The audio is horribly distorted on avi files. What's strange is I 
can play those files just fine with kaffeine. Apparently, I need some codecs 
to go with mplayer, but I haven't had much luck finding them.
