Coupled with the liberal arts as general development, perhaps a few electives 
in the sciences and business departments.  There are loads of IT folks out 
there who have a lot of difficulty comprehending user requirements because 
they don't speak engineering or accounting.

The person who can bridge departments has a special high-value skill.
