[Novalug] slightly OT: security conferences?

If you like California, Toorcon is coming up and is fairly cheap, if
you can make it over there.  I did it last year for less than $1k
(including meals, hotel, and airfare).

The good thing about Toorcon (300ish last year) is it's much smaller
than ShmooCon (1000ish this year) or Defcon (7000+ this year).  The
only bad thing about these cons, is the same material happens to run
through all 3 of them.

I believe there's a DC2600 group that meets in the Pentagon City mall
too, you may want to google that one up.

I agree with Pete, ShmooCon is a must for the locals =)
