[Novalug] connection question

I have an IBM computer, not new but with a respectable amount of ram and
hard disc space, cd+dvd, a wireless card snd kubuntu Feisty, fast
enough, has a wirelss card. Th dealer got it to work. I think he uses
Comcast.

It is on the ground floor of my house. Verizon sells me DSL. On the DSL
modem a Linksys WRT54 router hangs. A Shuttle with Ubuntu Dapper gets
mail and I browse. I will continue to use the Shuttle for mail and to
browse, but I also want to be able to browse using the IBM.

How do I connect? I suppose there is an installation procedure that I
can get to with a few mouse clicks, but I haven't been able to find it.
