[Novalug] Site Link Checker?

I am Looking for a FOSS / Linux utility to test links for a large site. 
Cyberspyder has been used but really bogs down when following links. 
Goal is to test links, and produce a concise report, at varying 
"depths." I'm seeking recommendations based on real-world *experience* 
(I've already done a Google search.)
