[Novalug] 500 GB drive 99.99

Whoa!!  Sounds to be too good to be true.  And ... well .... in some
respects it is.

I just ordered two drives.  After ordering it, I got an alarming
response:

Now what scares me is they want to verify the last 4 of my SSN via  ....
a THIRD PARTY!!!?!?!??!??!?!

This is a first for me.  Has anyone else seen this?   I won't give them
that so they can call me- not a problem.  That is greatly preferred over
providing this.
