Pan usenet newsreader is rather popular and
in some distros by default too.
As a usenet news server:
typically an ISP news.cox.net or similar
news.eastblahblahblah.com has a news server.
which lists are on it and whether they are PG-13 is
high spam to content ratio on some
on monderated [usenet] lists too.
