I just upgraded a Compaq system with integrated video
to an XFX 8500 GT. The 512MB model runs between $65
and $75.

The thing that I liked was this XFX model gets sufficient
cooling without a fan so it is quiet. Asus has a similar
one with the same feature, but other brands use fans.
