Thanks for the pointer.
Only a CX2615 doesn't have a Wacom device and installing the wacom package
(which has 'xsetwacom' in it) causes a number of conflicts. Mostly with the
"fpit" (Fujitsu Stylistic) pointing device, but others things as well.
In fact Ubuntu's installer installed the package originally and even
"configured" it as a X-input-device even though the hardware didn't even
exist and isn't falsely detected by the detection sotware.
