[Novalug] Apache2.2, Debian and no pid being created

... not sure about this but googling for "missing  /var/run/apache2.pid" 
returned

being a programmer I would dive into the source if google returns empty 
or do a
 > cd / ; find . -name "apache*.pid"
if I feel the HD needs something to do :)
