Lovecraft wrote that the closest we mere humans could get to it is 
"KHLUL-hloo". The "kh" sound is a guttural - like the "ch" in 
"Channukah" or "loch".  So it's essentially "hull whloo", with both 
emphasis and some phlegm on the  first syllable.
