The Google factor is a reason to avoid Android. They are collecting too
much data on the populace, and the public doesn't know where it goes.
> OR because its a functionally working credible product?
I've heard that that iPhone KILLS the Google Android.
I think OpenMoko needs to put their platform on various PDA phones, and
make it easy to get it there, and an easy app database...
People forget usability.

It always amazed me that people would complain about Windows, then strive
so hard to make Linux look just like Windows. Graphical installers and
I've been using UNIX (And Linux) for a long time (Still remember Yggdrisl
0.98, and FreeBSD 2.2.2, IRIX 5.3 and Solaris 2.4).
Linux has some killer stuff, but I dunno how I feel about it. My main
desktop at home is a Windows XP machine, and as time has gone on apps have
been written for Windows that are great (I use OS X at work on the
desktop and have Linux and BSD systems running in images at home).

Love hate. There are good apps on Windows and OS X, more control on Linux.

Perhaps it's a cool hack?
Or possible to spite apple.
What would be REALLY LOLtastic is Linux on the iPhone with a Crossover
type app to run the iPhone apps.
