[Novalug] No sound with NXServer's ESD on Ubuntu 8.10 -- glib compile error with source for workaround

Thanks!  That is what I was looking for.  I did a search via synaptic
quick search tool bar and didn't find that plugin.  

That being said, after installing it, the multimedia selector shows ESD
as a Gnome sound option, but there is no device associated with it.
Seems like I might need to sit tight until Nomachine figures out how to
make nxserver work with pulseaudio.
