Amarok 2.0 looks more Itunish, and is still in "beta". It's missing
device support, and the DB support is still a work in progress. I am
totally addicted to Amarok 1.4, and I'm very leary of the direction 2.0
is pointed in. I love Amarok for two major reasons, simplicity and the
centralized DB. I also like the way it doesn't want to "own" my music
library.

Amarok is one of the few media players that can scan and update a media
library, making it easier to point multiple systems at a single
library. My biggest problem with itunes (the app, not the store) is
that it cannot update its own library without re-importing.
