 	Same here, ever since I discovered Konqueror and then 
K3B; KDE in larger doses tends, alas!, to make my teeth itch and 
my fingernails crawl.

 	I've had many problems in all those years (probably most 
posted here); but none I can recall offhand that had to do with 
choice of KDE or Gnome. (Btw & fwiw, whenever K3B or Brasero 
fails, the other usually succeeds.)
