[Novalug] [OT] Open a Philips LCD monitor 190B5

Hi,

  I'm googling for some instructions for opening a free Philips LCD 
190B5 monitor that I got that shows power but only a dark screen. Some 
people here suggested replacing the inverter (the cheapest solution to 
try first some people say).
 
  But...I can't open the LCD monitor! I have unscrewed the base and have 
removed as many screws I see. The metal part seems to be loose but I 
can't figure out how to to open it without risking to crack it...

  I have searched in the Philips website but they don't explain how to 
open it...

  Any hints?
