[Novalug] anyone have any experience with home power usage measurement

Radio shack sells a nice meter that can be read thru serial port. I think there are clamp on current sensors that will connect to a VOM. Cant recall any VOM/current/wattage meter specifically designed as a clamp on device with a serial port... or USB.
