Okay, trying to get my wireless back to the point it used t be with SuSE 
10.2 I discovered the following :

HW : bcm 4318, on a x86-64 AMD laptop.
OS : OpenSuSe 11.0Alpha2

ndiswrapper from version 10.2 does no longer compile with newer kernels.
ndiswrapper current incarnation ( 1.52 ) does no longer work with my bcm4318
bcm43xx kernel driver does work but results in ~50% dropped packets ( 
which seems to be the norm for this driver )
b43 ( the new kernel driver ) does not work at all. iwconfig has no 
wireless interface
b43legacy ( the new kernel drivers legacy support ) does not work at 
all. iwconfig has no wireless interface.

So let me get this straight, previously working ndiswrapper is now 
broken plus we have a grand total of 4 non working drivers for the bcm 
chipset. That must be some kind of stupid record as I see it.
