[Novalug] computer hangs up

I'm running Fedora 8 and have this same problem.  I thought it might be heat
buildup, but that doesn't seem to be it.  As far as I can tell it only locks
up when getting keyboard or mouse input.  When I let automatic processes run
there has not yet been a problem.  This started about 1 week ago.  I thought
it might be a bug in an update, so I reinstalled from the DVD and applied
none of the 200 or so updates.  Still locks up after anywhere from an hour
to 5 minutes of use.  What is shameful is that this is a dual boot machine
and Windows runs fine.  My wife worked at home the other day and had no
problem running Windows all day.
