Ouch! That is a very downhearted comment. I get tons of info about 
everything *nix related off this list.

I think you'll find the 'hot spots' are never hot very long. And they 
usually turn sour within a few years. Anyone who moves JUST to find a 
job will be sad in the long haul, at least I think that way.

Personally I've noticed a trend with companies starting to put "great 
place to work" into their business goals for the coming years. How well 
they achieve that goal remains to be seen, but I have seen it in a few 
places. Its not just IT that is having rapid turnover, there its 
turnover across the board as employees are 'job hopping', something that 
used to be frowned upon in general, but since the dot com boom/bust, and 
the healtcare craziness, its going across the board.
