[Novalug] followup re OLPC and Mesh Networking

All,

pursuant to my question about the mesh networking protocol used for OLPC 
I did a quick wikipedia check and learned that the IEEE standard is 
still in draft form. so it could be subject to change before it is fully 
ratified. Here is the url to the www page for the wikipedia entry:

If you read it you will notice that OLPC is in fact mentioned as being 
one of the first products to implement this (draft) standard. I do know 
that for several years other providers of mesh wireless solutions have 
developed/promoted their own "flavors" of a mesh wireless routing 
protocol.. Among them is Meraki networks, a company of which some of you 
may be aware. Here is the url to their www site:

I cannot determine from their www site what mesh protocol they are using 
but I suspect that it is NOT 802.11s.
