I had an MSI board that gave me a lot of trouble and ultimately failed
after just two years.  Among other things, it was very flaky about
booting from USB devices, even though the board was purchased in 2005
when there was no excuse for that.  I'll never buy another MSI.

I've been buying Intel boards and have had no trouble.

That said, what works for one person may not work for the next.  We
probably all unfairly rule out manufacturers because of one bad
board....
