[Novalug] Advantages of server based on CentOS/Ubuntu, etc?

I was *required* to do this for Fedora 8 this year.  My box fell prey to 
the infamous depsolve bug #372011 since I had packages from Livna.

Turns out, I really like the non-CD method and will probably use it from 
now on.  Anaconda is really good with initial install, but has just 
never worked well for upgrades in my experience.  Of course, that's 
probably due to me using a lot of outside packages.
